History and Milestones
Goldin Properties Holdings Limited is formerly known as Matsunichi Communications Holdings Limited, which was principally engaged in the production of digital electronic products and began trading on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in August.
The Company acquired three adjacent plots of land in Xiqing District, Tianjin between March and September, and conducted the ground breaking ceremony of flagship project Goldin Metropolitan in December.
The Company was renamed as Goldin Properties Holdings Limited to reflect its business focus on real estate development.
In November, the construction of Goldin Finance 117, the landmark building of Goldin Metropolitan, commenced. The Company acquired two more adjacent plots of land in Xiqing District, Tianjin, and the rights of operation of a sports-based theme park next to the Central Business District.
Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club was officially opened in November.
Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club held two inaugural international polo tournaments in 2012, the Fortune Heights Snow Polo World Cup 2012 in February and the Fortune Heights Super Nations Cup 2012 in October.
The basement of Goldin Finance 117 was topped off and construction of the building commenced in August. In September, the piling works and construction of diaphragm wall of the basements of the Central Business District’s second phase (including the twin office towers, opera house, hotel and international exhibition centre) commenced.
In June, the low-density residence in phase one of Fortune Heights, the residential project in Goldin Metropolitan, was launched for sale.
Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club held the inaugural Metropolitan Intervarsity Polo in July showcasing top university polo teams from England and the USA.
The Company became a constituent of the Morgan Stanley Capital International (“MSCI”) China Small Cap Index and the Hang Seng Composite MidCap Index in May and September respectively.
